Savings Program Frequently Asked Questions
Will my insurance cover Simtriyo?
Coverage varies by health plan, and some patients may need insurance authorization before coverage is approved. Your healthcare provider's office will work with your insurance company to help obtain the required approvals.
What is an authorization?
An authorization is a review some insurance plans require before paying for Simtriyo. It is an insurance approval and may also be referred to as a prior authorization or medical exception.
Can I start Simtriyo while coverage is being reviewed?
Eligible commercially insured patients can use the savings card offer immediately, before approval, for the first 4 fills while insurance approval decision is being made. Upon insurance approval, eligible commercially insured patients continue to pay as little as $20 for a 30-day supply.
What if my commercial insurance does not provide authorization?
Eligible commercially insured patients whose insurance is not covering Simtriyo after 4 fills may continue to pay as little as $115 for a 30-day supply.
Who can answer questions about my coverage or costs?
Your healthcare provider's office can help guide the approval process. For plan-specific coverage and out-of-pocket cost information, you can also contact your insurance company directly.
